Pearson Njeru

Pearson Njeru is the Managing Director of Pamoja digital financing ltd. He has a proven track record spanning over 18 years in microfinance management and business growth in various institutions. He is responsible of managing the day-to-day operations of the institution by setting up and providing clear leadership and guidance to all functions of the institution currently in place.

Prior to joining Pamoja, Pearson was the Chief operations officer for MUSONI microfinance, the 1st microfinance institution in Kenya to operate a cashless, paperless and data driven business model in Kenya, which proved to be a huge success. He was responsible for the management of core business operations, including lending, product development, marketing, policy development, and application of internal controls.

Previously Pearson worked in KWFT microfinance bank, where he served for 13 years and rose through the ranks to become general manager operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business management from Kenya Methodist University and a Graduate Diploma in Business administration from Technical university of Kenya. He, has attended several professional trainings in microfinance both locally and internationally and is a Microfinance expert with over 18 years’ experience in the industry
